Original and best and full length too! I recorded this one back in July 1996 after I just rebuilt my RD400, fired up with Allspeed pipes on. It's now been copied (and badly edited) on many other sites. It's a shame people never think to credit the original authors.

The following 3 files were recorded in April 1997 - my RD400 with Proporting pipes. Ok, I've just put the tape recorder on the edge of the kerb, started it recording and am waiting for some cars to pass before I pull away ready to do some high speed passes...

Slight uphill gradient, 5th gear, head down on the tank... Waaaaaaaahh!

Back down the road again, hooking up to 6th gear just before passing the recorder.
